Oh WOW! This is simply gorgeous! Love all the colors and the flower is just beautiful!!
I too would keep it simple, the large stipple sounds good to me, or perhaps start with a
small circle in the center, then gradiating circles throughout. This is the part that always
gets me, always afraid to start the quilting part. Again, your quilt is Fantastic!!!

I vote for maybe flame like flowery lines that come out from the center. it makes me think of fire but that is just me. not so much the colors but the broken looking image. good luck and let us know what you do when your done
when life gets you down go and talk with a little kid. They will help you work out even the worst problems with their simple logic.

    Gorgeous!!!

From the suggestions you have been given, I would go with the small stipple in the center of the flower surrounded by lines (squiggly or not) radiating out. Think the idea of leaves in the border would be pretty too.

Wow! That is spectacular! I think wavy lines radiating out would be good, too... like heat radiating off it. Thanks so much for showing us this beauty... wow!
