Hi, Here's a throw sized star...needs something in the middle though! I might applique a big rose from the roses in the border or a picture of someone or something...any ideas?

an applique rose sounds neat, maybe with a few vines and leaves. :D

I like it the way it is, the border fabric is gorgeous but if you put a colour into that black center I think it'll detract from the WOW of it all...

Three little roses clustered in the ctr. would mimic your border and unify it. Beautiful quilt! :D :D

I love the idea of the rose in the center. I am also very partial to red roses so, I might be a little biased there. Looks wonderful!

I think I will do the roses...maybe the smaller ones as suggested and the beading sounds like a great idea to set off some shine! Thanks for the ideas so far!

What about a smaller star in the middle in red, instead of using roses?
