Default Military Uniform Quilt

FINALLY done! I had the squares ready for months but had to wait on the emboridery one. It took me 7 hours today to quilt, square and bind...that include lunch and running to pick out the binding. Hubby picked it out, it is red with gold stars. I didn't measure it before I put it in the wash, but at the last measurement, it was 85" x 100"! And it is HEAVY! It feels like at least 15lbs...at least my body feels like it after all the quilting on it today. But hubby is happy so I am happy. But NEVER AGAIN....lol.

Good luck! lol I am glad I did it for him, as he is the one that asked for it after I started sewing in November. It has taken me this long to get it all together but it is done!

What a great use for his uniforms! I can't imagine how wonderful he must feel to be the proud owner of this keepsake. Thank him for his service and thank you for sharing.
