    such a nice scrappy quilt... I wanted to participate in mystery #8 but I have #7 listed on my UFO chart. Yours turned out nice.

    I can relate with the scraps. Seems every time you make a quilt you end up with scraps for the bin. I've made 5 lap size quilts from my scrap bin and it didn't seem to diminish at all. I try to use what scraps are left from the last quilt into the next quilt but it doens't always happen. I even let a new quilter go thru my pile to help diminish it, still didn't seem to go down. On another question today someone mentioned the ModaBake "Simply Woven" pattern. Looks like it might take up some 2.5" scraps. Might try that one next.
