My mom and I made this quilt frame as per instructions someone on this board posted. Finally got it assembled. Ran out of time tonight to try it out but definitely will try it tomorrow. One thing...I'm not sure exactly how to set it up with leader cloth and all that and then to actually quilt with it.

The second picture is of the big board I won on our shop hop in June. It is supposed to sit over an ironing board but it fit perfectly on top of my grandmother's old sewing cabinet.

Please ignore all the crap in the background! I'm still dealing with my hoarding tendencies!

I'll be interested to see how that works....

I have been searching garage sales to find a cabinet to set up my big board exactly like that!

Those are really neat. Your frame is beautiful, you did a great job! I do have a question for anyone that can help. I had a Flynn frame, but sold it because I couldn't see how to do large quilts. How do you do a large quilt? I got the very long poles but then had no room! Thanks

I have my new quilt frame assembled and ready to go for tomorrow. BUT....I have a problem. The cord to the foot pedal is too short and won't reach the floor. I found a stool I can set it on but it will kill my back to sew that way. A bar stool would work great and I had one up until a year ago and I donated it. Dang it!

Maybe in the morning I'll have some brilliant flash of genius and I'll figure out how to do it.
