Default New BOM (and my first ever)

i can't applique worth a hoot! ive only been sewing 3 years now and that's not exactly my strong suit. when my lqs decided to do a BOM i had to join in so i could find experience and solace in my new project. it is from The Quilt Company and it is called Garden Friends. There are 6 patterns and then i dont know what is next! thought i would share my first; it took me over a month to open the package to begin with, but after 2 days and countless seams that were unseamed, except for the handwork with embroidery thread, she is finished. what do you think?

I think you're doing a great job! Post each block so we can see what it all turns out like. You certainly challenge yourself! That is a good thing.

Well, I thought it looked so cute that I would google "Garden Friends" quilt to see what the whole quilt would look like. Guess what! There's one for sale for $900.00!!!!! Gasp! You will have a treasure on your hands! It's adorable!
