Default Finished - Cute chenilled quilt for DGD

Cindy just finished this great soft and cuddly chenille-effect quilt for our little granddaughter. We think it'll make a great floor quilt for her to play on. It was a pretty easy, although a little bit tedious project to make. Cindy did all the hard work, and I did the cutting of the fabric layers into the chenille effect, so I had a small part in it too.

The finished size is about 32" x 40".

Overall quilt picture - This panel is Bear Necessities starring Popcorn the Bear and Friends from Quilting Treasures.

Closeup showing chenille effect.

That is precious! I love the effect of chenille but it does take a bit of time and effort. It is especially nice done with several of the panels stacked.

Default Wow - that represents a lot of work!

Wow - that represents a lot of work. I've made a few chenille scarves so I know. Is there just one panel or multiple layers of the same panel to get that effect?

It uses 3 identical stacked panels. The top two are cut and the lowest one is not cut.
