Fresh new curtains are just the thing to brighten a room. I love the fabric you picked, Ruth; they will look great!

I might add that this makes me think I'd better get my rear in gear regarding curtains in our house (the one we have been building for 5 years!)---another good excuse to buy fabric---lol

    Hey Ruth

Lovely choice of fabric for your new curtains - they will certainly look nice & fresh for Spring time.
Where did you get the fabric from ?

I got this at Walmart for $2.00 a yard. Since my curtains need to be somewhere around 63". I get it cut in two yard pices. 2 pieces for each window. This paticular fabric had nicely finished edges so those I just left. I just did the top and bottom and I was done. A lot of the fabric that walmart gets like this is curtain fabric and washes great. I used some insulated drape fabric for grocery bags...great for frozen food. If you want to use tie backs, they have them at the local dollar store....very nice ones by the pair. The grand total for my room was $8.00

Very pretty fabric. It's such a pick me up to the room to hang new curtains!

I'm still trying to get "in the mood" to make curtains for my spare bedroom. The comforter I bought came with a set of sheets so I thought I'd make the curtains from that....just gotta get it in gear
