Your husband giving that machine to his mom all those years ago, and now it coming to you must make it extra special. I am so happy that you have such a beautiful featherweight. It obviously was meant to be yours!!!

Wow, she"s beautiful, pretty much exactly the same age as my little PITA, have a lot I have of fun with her(I sold one of my fancy newer machines cuz the featherweight sews/stitches SO much better.

Do the featherweights quilt well? From what I can see - you can get a darning foot and a walking foot and the feed dog cover - but curious is it handles the quilting?

Thanks for looking everyone and all the great comments! I am so excited to try her out tomorrow. Starting a new quilt tomorrow and thought I would try her out.
