    A friend of mine found these blocks that his mom made..and I am putting them in a quilt for him....and I am doing quilt as you go...I do not think the quilt is going to be that big....more like a wall hanging but we shall see

    There is only 10 blocks...and one is made really poorly it is off by a 1/2 inch...I need to figure out how I am going to fix it..without tearing the block apart.. I do not want to have to take out stitching she put in....My friend asked for her name on a block with her birthdate as well as her death date on it. that will be the center block...

    It is sweet of you to do this for your friend.
    You could use a strip of fabric to match. Or
    maybe a deeper blue or black to make it pop.
