Default New Purse for Florida trip!

Purse I made for our trip to Florida this month. I used a pattern called BYOB, Bring Your Own Bag with a little Bow Tucks Bag thrown in. Not sure I like the fabric flower, may take that off. I couldn't decide on a lining fabric so turned the main fabric wrong side for the lining.

I put then on before it finished. I find the easiest way to line them up is to attach them just before you sew the bottom of the lining together after you have sewed the purse to the lining and have turned it. You can place a mark on the bag lining where you want the snap and still being able to get your hand inside the lining you can put on magnet and bend the prongs on it to hold in place. I did see a bag that the magnet was put on after it was made and to cover the prongs on the outside of the bag she had sewed buttons over it. Button looked like it was supposed to be there. Hope this helps.

Great! It has a nice "beachy" look to it.
