Thank you everyone. I have really enjoyed working on this quilt.
I am changing the hand quilting part though I am going to redo it in purple thread to stand against the yellow. I think it will be really cute.

I am also going to take it with me to the LQS on Sat they are having a sewing party so I will be able to get some help on machine quilting as I have never done it before

Sweet! I love the fabrics and I love yellow too. I put it in my first quilt, then I read in quite a few quilt books that it is best to "avoid" yellow. O well I love it and I love yours, your neice will really like it.
