Default New Quilt project and a crafty (garden type) mothers day one!

I know I know we're only supposed to put quilty things on here but I couldn't resist doing both! We all love quilting and there are lost of gardeners on here to and this is for her garden!

First the Quilty. I'm going to be doing 2 memorial wall hangings for a close friend of the family (my DH's side) Both are going to be made out of shirts and there's a big fluffy bathrobe for the backing of at least one possibly both. I'm going to start these as soon as I finish the binding on the black and white quilt and finish the 2 tops for charisma and send them home!

Now the Crafty! My mom has made 3 little fairy gardens in her garden so far and has wanted a fairy house to go with. Soooo, my best friend and I made her one! E did the bark from the windows down. I did the roof, moss, and clothes line. I have some better pictures on my blog if you'd like to see them. Elizabeth also helped me get the moss inside the house to cover the floor, we wanted it to look good from all angles if she decided to check in the windows!

You are one crafty girl! I know your mom will LOVE her fairy house -- it's too cute! Please post your wall hangings when you get them done, too, OK?

Very sweet....you are right, many of us here are into gardening and other crafty pursuits. Alas, no small people in my life to have the need of a fairy garden.

Very clever. I love fairies and would like to have several in my garden and of course a really neat fairy house for them to live in. Guess I'll have to make one.

The quilts will be very nice.
I do love the house. How cute!
Do we all believe in fairies, witches, ghosts, monsters (the baby, cutesy kind)....?
