So DGD (13) is here for the day and a sleepover. She sewed some unused jelly roll strips together and here is what she made... Pretty clever I would say. Her first apparel creation. I had nothing to do with this.

The dress is awesome, but I'm looking at your sewing kingdom (Queendom?) and going, "WOW!" It's in your basement? We don't have basements here on the Gulf Coast. When my daughter lived in Northern Virginia it amazed us that what appeared to be a small house had a whole other space below ground. Isn't it funny what we accept as the norm?
