Default New Wave Quilt for cousin

I had asked for pattern suggestions here http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...ml#post6712296 and went ahead and made the New Wave Quilt from www.ohfransson.com. Just after I had started stitching it, I was told one of my cousins has aggressive breast cancer so I decided to concentrate on completing this quilt. The binding has just gone on today & I have the label hand stitched & drying and will hopefully get this Quilted Hugs off to her in tomorrow's mail. The pattern was fun to make and I chose the rose colour to sash with as the blue fabric has a small rose flower inside the yellow shape.
I pieced the backing with pieces left from the front and also pieces of soft flannel.

You done great on the quilt & quilting. Your cousin is going to love it & have lots of hugs every time she wraps it around her. It will be a great blessing for her.
