I have some of Pam Bono's earlier books and you are right, her blocks are always involved but also very unique!!! Enjoy the journey!

Default First block

Ok this is the first block out of that book with the sampler quilt. the Rectangle book. I think I will make this my BOM. I am using scraps so far. These are large blocks, 17 ins. finished.

Also, I wasn't a piece of cake either lol. I ripped a few times, because I didn't pay attention to recheck...my fault.

That's an excellent place to start learning Pam's methods - Rectrangles becomes a king size, so I split mine into two single quilts and still had 3 blocks left over. I'm looking forward to the end result.

Good Idea Ada, I will just make enough now for a single bed and put a piano key boarder and then maybe try some of her other designs.

The name of the book is Rectangles? That block is cool.....her designs are like foundation piecing without the foundation!
