first to the person who asked how cold it is here- it reached 2 today- but the wind was wicked & wind chills remained -20 or lower all day- the roads were sheets of ice & there were white out conditions anywhere there was open areas (there was a school bus off the road by the airport today- glare ice with the wind coming off the runways sweeping across the roads) so glad I made it home (although my normal 20 minute drive took just over 1 hour) now I don't have to go out & brave the weather again until tomorrow. now, about the quilt- I realized after I posted this this morning that I had already shown it earlier in the month- sorry for doing it twice- I had taken new pictures of it & didn't realize I had already posted it- not trying to get *double kudo's*

turned on the news this morning & looked out the window---big mistake! weather man says the wind chill is -20 right now & we have 4-6 foot drifts in the drive- I am so....looking forward to venturing out to {try} to get to work this morning...all of the schools in my area are closed again today- and it's still snowing. seems to be winter in Northern Michigan.
