I too love to applique anything and everything I can get my hands on. It's very portable and I need portability to Dr ofc & hospitals.
These blocks look excellent, machine appliqued?
Love the colors too.

Beautiful blocks, makes me want to start some! Do you buy your wool at the LQS or do you do the thrift store thing. The wool I have has all come from thrift stores and then felted at home. I love the way it turns out. Can't wait to see your quilts.

I'm doing a wool applique currently, my first. It is a Primitive Gathering fall wall hanging. Love the colors. Very easy to do also. No learning curve actually. The price of kits and the cost of wool can be pretty daunting, tho.
Where do you all buy kits or fabric? In the South we pretty much have to go to thrift stores or buy online and sticker shock happens when you look online.

i mostly purchase my wools from thrift stores, & yard sales - felt & dye it myself
once in a while i visit a shop that has a few pieces that i might pick up but 98% of my wools are (recycled)
