Very cute quilt!

FWIW, I made a flannel rag quilt for my pickiest daughter and gave it to her at Christmas. I was braced for a lukewarm response. (After all, they aren't difficult to make.) To my surprise, she was absolutely delighted with it!

Imho, flannel (or homespun) rag quilts are a great way to introduce newcomers to quilting. So much "bang" for not a whole lot of effort, comparatively.

My late sister Harriet always made these rag quilts.....she was good at it. Thanks for the memory.
