I have some up with six options for my borders. None of the really jump out at me.

The quilt is for my niece who lives in Alaska. When she was visiting we surfed the web and she seemed to really like the simple Bargello.

What do you think about the borders?

Simple double border

Simple double border with corner stone. This just represents some corner stone, not actual one to be used.

Double border with strip of Bargello between. Only one strip shown but will extend around the quilt.

Represents pieced border. Narrow strip of light. Points of light/dark. Wider strip of dark.

Inner and outer border both dark with narrow strip from Bargello. Only one strip shown but will extend around the quilt.

I think I like the first, just simple border so nothing distracts from the beauty of the quilt.

I prefer the simple... The complexity of the bargello is set off nicely.

I agree the first one is the best to me. The top is beautiful.

My choice would be just the dark fabric, nice and wide like you have it.

And, personally, I'd lose the thin lighter colored inner border.
Dulls the glow of the actual Bargello.

I prefer the first border, it really sets off your lovely bargello.

Each idea shows your creativity, but the first picture is the one that actually enhances your artistry of the Bargello (minus the light colored border).
