I did it! I finished up the top of the quilt. (you experts out there, don't look too closely!!!!) Now I just need to decide on the binding and borders....I know I will be using one fabric that looks like grass (to resemble turf) and another that is a small football print. I have to pack it away for the weekend now that the little one is home for the next 3 days. I really hope to keep it a surprise.

It looks wonderful!!! Great job. Did you end up trimming the extra little bit off one side?

Yes, I figured that was the least painful thing to do. I trimmed 1/4 inch of the "long" side and so far everything seems to be fitting. I guess I'll just adjust the borders to make it fit. I'm hoping it will fit his twin bed.

It looks great and turned out really good. Measure the bed and just add boarders and don't forget to add your seam allowance for each boarder.

Can't wait to see it done.
