Default Night Before Christmas Quilt

I made some ornaments last month, and I just finished a Christmas quilt. I know it's early in the year to be thinking about Christmas, but I just couldn't resist this quilt.

It's made from a panel designed for a fabric book, illustrations by Mary Engelbreit. The colors are so rich and the illustrations are so adorable. I love the idea of quilt that you can read. I might keep it for myself and future children

It was *so* easy! It was a little hard to figure out the layout/dimensions, but after that was done the piecing was easy peasy. I did add a little difficulty to the backing. I pieced the title and credit pages like I did on the front, so I had to make sure they were lined up perfectly so the quilting didn't show as "off" on the back (since I opted for straight-line framing instead of free-motion).

I bet your snowmen quilt will be fabulous, though! So much work rarely goes unrewarded in a quilt
