A while ago (we won't mention how long) I posted that I needed help with the quilting of this quilt I pieced. I tried to quilt it myself by hand and machine, but my lack of experience was ruining it. So I hired out a local quilter named Rosie and she did exactly what I was looking for.
This quilt was created from a photo of my daughters favorite place. I had a photo that I dragged around everywhere trying to match the fabric and this is what I came up with.
Rosie added the trees, water plants and water lillies. She used metallic thread in the water and gave the sky some clouds. We are all pleased with how it came out....especially Sara. Rosie suggested that I enter it in one of the local quilt shows this summer. I think I just might.
Enjoy.
