I bought myself a birthday present, a NOOK color. LOVE IT!
so I made a cover. all I need is a big red button for the front flap. Next project is a matching carrying case. I used the pattern E Cozy from Whistlepig Creek Production

I tried to make a cover for my Nook also. It was hard to sew on that edge and put those corners on for me. Did you put padding on the cover to protect the screen?
