    Northern Star lap Quilt

    I am making lap quilts for ladies at my church and just finished this one so thought I'd share. It is a Northern Star block. 1 FQ of solid and 1 FQ of print and scraps for white, make 5 star blocks. Stars are made of HST's. I used a flannel for the back which makes it extra soft! Quilt is 40x40

    I love your piecing, fabric choices, and quilting. Did you use batting, and would you tell us the brand of sewing machine you used?
