What a neat idea - church dolls. These would keep
a little one busy & quiet.

Those are so cute. Wow I would have loved to have had those when my kids were little to keep them busy at church. :) Thanks for sharing those. :) Is there a pattern available?

What a wonderful idea. What is in the left and right pockets?

They are really adorable dolls. I would love to know about the pattern if there is one available. There are so many baby and little girls in my family. Thanks :)

There is a pattern. I think I ordered it from Clotilde. But it's made by Down Memory lane. www.memlane.com. The story included says that the dolls helped to occupy the children and if they dropped them they wouldn't make noise on the old wooden church floors. I used scraps, so other than the pattern(somewhere around $10) it didn't cost a thing to make. I will look in my files to see exactly where I got them and how much. Oh I found it. I ordered from Keepsake Quilting and pattern was $8.50.

One pocket holds a 6"x6" piece of flannel for a "blanket". and the other pocket holds a small booklet. The pattern comes with a preprinted booklet, but since I was making 3 of them, I made my own books. There are no words in my books just pictures I got from the internet of Jesus and other religious depictions and printed on card stock.
