Default Oak Tree Memory Quilt

I just finished this 6 ft. by 5 ft. machine appliqued oak tree memory quilt for a customer. All the leaves and acorns are made of flannel fabric that were her fathers' shirts. All the tree trunk, leaves etc. and the backing are flannel, the background, river and grass are cotton. The words quilted into the space on the right just above the river read:
"Remembering My Father". She was thrilled, and I am pretty proud of it. The sides are my rug its laying on, not part of the quilt! It has a hanging sleeve to hang on the wall, or it's still very soft and can be cuddled up with.

Absolutely gorgeous! Need you needle turn the flannel appliqué leaves, raw edge or use fusible?

That is a wonderful memory quilt. How did you come up with idea? Is it a pattern or your own creation? Either way it is spectacular.
