These are the 2 blocks I'm sending my partner for the Bee BOM club. Hope you enjoy them.

Virginia

She asked for Batik.. Does it fit?

She asked for Batik.. Does it fit?

It's very pretty but I don't think either fabric is Batik.

Virginia do you measure your blocks as you go? I press and measure every time I add a new piece. The blocks need to be 12.5 square when finished. I'm not sure what the blue is but the floral is definitely not batik.

Yes, I do measure as I add pieces and at the end trim off any edges that are stray corners, etc. The one block you see that seems smaller at the bottom than the top is because of the placement on the wall and the angle of the camera.

Do you see a problem that I don't?

Sorry, I have never worked with batik. In fact, I don't like it. Just call me "old fashioned Grama"

Thanks for your comment. Currently I am working on setting together a hidden 9 patch from my Bee BOM. Talk about inconsistencies in size-----no 2 matched, am doing lots of trimming.
