Default Dresden Plate for my Mom in Law

This quilt is three generations of work. My Mother in Laws mom made the dresden plate and handed to my mom in law who appliqued the plate down with the zigzag. I have reinforced her zigzag and put the rest of the quilt together and long arm quilted it on my Gammill. I was so tickled with how it turned out and the red is just stunning on it. Not one of my favorite colors but it worked so well for this quilt. The long arm was done with ruler work and I used the tutorial that greenfairy quilts posted about diamond sashing. Turned out great - I think she is going to love it. My little man loves to be in the pictures too!
