OK, I've decided to cut it up and mix and match. I am thinking if I make my cuts in multiples of 3, I can rearrange the sections until I like the results. 6x9 rectangle, 6x6 squares, etc. If I make just a few half square triangles it will offset those two blocks that already are made that way. I will cut a larger single block out of those wonky intersections to preserve that intersection for posterity, to show how an older piece was constructed, and then just scatter those larger blocks among all the smaller ones. If I cut the bigger sections first, then I should know what I to work with for the small divisions.
