I dont' really like my edges, so I'm going to go buy some ribbon or something and do my edges with that.

Also, I've decided that for my top stitching, I'm going to sew around a dozen of so of the squares, through and through, using this multi-coloured thread that should show up super nice on the black backing.

I haven't gotten around to trimming all those pesky little threads that stick to everything... :roll:

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I can't wait to start my next one, but alas, the stores close in 15 minutes, and I don't have time to go buy that cool orange two-tone fabric I wanted. :( I have been working on this thing since 8:30 this morning and I didn't see the time fly by! I forgot to have breakfast AND lunch, lol!

That is a great looking quilt. You do beautiful work. I can't believe that this is your first. My first didn't look that good. Keep up the good work we can't wait to see more.
