I'm finished with Logan's "twin" quilt top. I made him an Irish chain quilt and the dimensions came out to be 74x105!!!!!! It's the Quilt in a Day pattern but obviously I did something wrong! Is this going to be way too huge for a twin bed? Should I take the border off and try to trim it down? ahhhh I hate this... I don't know what I did wrong. I made sure all my blocks were 10.5" so it must be the border.

It's a great quilt! Extra room for more than one person to snuggle!

A suggestion: Try using risers for the bed rather than ripping out. It's lovely just the way it is.

Well, you have PLENTY for a pillow tuck. Try it on the bed. Then if it's too big, take off the final two borders and just leave the one. I agree you don't want it dragging on the floor, and no, I would not put risers on a kids bed. Good luck.

I like them to be big enough to tuck under the pillow and drape to the floor.
