    Well it took me all weekend because I had so many mistakes that me and my seam ripper became best friends. I'm glad I had double the material so I can do this one over - I learned a lot. The matching tote bag isn't done because I didn't have enough strapping for the straps.

    Don't be too harsh :mrgreen:

    Thanks it was one of those rolls of strips...my husband is the one who actually suggested the yellow in between each square block - I was skeptical - but it came out great - color wise....

    I had to the do the strips on the back because my bobbin bunched up - tried using a different type of thread and it didn't work and I was so tired of ripping and re-sewing that I added the strips on the back to cover up! Gotta love it!

    The fabrics are great. Kudos to your DH on the yellow. That sets the whole quilt zinging.
