I was at Walmart for laundry soap and just "happened" to find myself checking out the fabric (as usual) I came across this fleece that was on clearance so i had to buy it. I took it home,
made some bias bindings and wellah....i have three new blankets for my hospital project and each one only cost 2.50 each to make!! I know it's not quilting, but it did give me a nice break from all my cutting. Now i'm ready to get back to quilting.

Just call the hospital and ask for the volunteering dept. I'm sure they too would love the baby blankets for the pediatric dept. It only took me one phone call and about 5 mins to locate who i needed to talk too. For me it has turned into a compulsion to get the quilts over to the hospital. It just brightens my week after i deliver them!
