I inherited my grandmother's sewing and knitting things. She was a Depression era teen and young adult, very frugal. I like to use the small segments of binding and elastic she saved whenever I can, even just for hanging loops in clothes. There's a bone bodkin I use every time I sew to sweep the bobbin thread up and back, a magnifying glass that's so handy, and buttons to last me until I die. She taught me to sew and her things are my treasures.

Nice find. If there are needles in the case, they will be the best needles you've ever owned. Quality is hard to find these days.
