Could anyone tell me by looking at the fabric on this quilt what decade it would have been made in. My X-daughter-in-law thinks maybe the 60's. It was made by her great-grand-mother. It was machine pieced and hand quilted. It had batting in it not some other material. There was so much damage on the top she thinks by a dog sleeping on it. She asked if I would take it apart and save the the blocks that I can and made three small quilts for my grandchildren.

Thank you for any help.

I was all set to say 50's but a couple of them look newer, more like the 70's, 80's.
Just my guess.

PS. Looking at it again, I believe there are several decades involved. Maybe she had a scrap pile the way most of us do!

Do you have any idea how old the maker is or would be today?
That could help too.

Or if you have small pieces left, you can frame them.
