The block isn't square and the pieces don't even come close to matching up - I just slapped this together so I could try FMQ. I am very much a "want to try this right now" person...I think with lots of practice I will be able to do this! Will probably always be too scared to work on a real quilt though.

Any and all tips/help will be welcome...
Off to practice, practice and practice some more. I am so excited - I finally tried FMQ.

I don't see any mismatching. The colors are great and so is your FMQ. I don't think I could have done as well. I have only done some hand quilting so far.

Oh, you really need to try this. It is so much fun! Just slap together a small little square and go for it. Can't see me getting much done today other than playing at FMQ.
