    I can see why this pretty fabric spoke to you...that rose fabric is wonderful! I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat too!

    Doesn't matter if they like it or not. It is your quilt. Make what you want. I think it is beautiful. I bought some scraps of fabric with pink roses at a garage sale for 50 cents. I fussy cut it into three different sizes of blocks and made a separate quilts with each size. I used pink and a soft green to put them together from my stash. They are some of the ost attractive quilts I've made. Especially the last one, when I sewed the blocks together it was too long and narrow to suit me, so I made a wide strip of cream and appliqued the whole strip with flowers and leaves using scraps from the rose fabric and from the pink and green. It turned out wonderful. You really don't have to please anyone but YOU!
