Thread: One down - Five to Go

Looks great! What fun!

I've always wondered what to do with those squares with witty sayings - I've seen them at quilt shows - and you've found a wonderful use for them. Your quilt is imaginative, and I love the colors.

Hey .... this quilt is really nice! I love the colors too, like so many before me said. I wish I could read the quilter's quips. Fuzzy eyes this morning. :shock:

The quips are:
1 - A messy house is the sign of a happy quilter.
2 - A fat quarter has fewer calories than a hot fudge sundae.
3 - She who dies with the most fabric wins.
4 - No outfit is complete without a few threads.
5 - When I learned how to quilt I forgot how to cook.
6 - Will quilt for food.
7 - I'm a quilter and my house is in pieces.
8 - Blessed are the children of quilters for they shall inherit the quilts.

:D Number four made me laugh out loud ... so true. And the trail of threads though the house is like rose petals to a quilter, right?

I posted later in the thread because I stopped at SewJoyce's remark to comment on both the quilt and what she said. I love the quilt and thanks for taking the time to post the sayings I Love them all.
