Default One of the finishes I did at a fun retreat with friends

Yesterday we had a fun retreat with friends...and friends of friends. A friend of mine lives in a condo and they can rent out the club house for 25.00 a day. They have tables, chairs, frig, stove, sink and two bathrooms. We each bought a dish to eat, and other goodies, our sewing machines, cutter, one ironing board iron, music...and lots of fun...Here is one of the projects I finished and then used the scraps and make two panels for a bag which i will complete on our next retreat next month. I also cut out the pieces for my next quilt. It was a lot of fun...and for 25.00 for all of us for an entire day...can't beat it!!!

Very pretty quilt, and sounds like a great day. We have a building close to me used as the community center which is rented out like that per day. There are bigger ones, but the one we have serves our small community well. It's like a big log cabin style with kitchen and all the things a person needs.

Sounds like a deal for a fun day. Your quilt is beautiful, and I love the feathers you quilted.
