This is one I quilted and bound myself. Those are Prairie Points around the border.

I'm a bit embarrassed to brag so much but the photo does not do it full justice.

I definitely don't hate it. :lol:

the Arrows point the way! I like the smaller prairie point you've done - adds a lot to the look of the quilt. It's just beautiful - lots of celebration going on! I really like it.

Beautiful quilt. Love the Prairie Points. Never done them--on the bucket list though. They look difficult, are they?

thanks all for the compliments! :-)

i used my Janome MC6600 for the whole thing. i've had it since November and love it to pieces. :-)

the prairie points are bulky but not as difficult as i thought they'd be. i made them the traditional way - from folded squares. the next time i make them i plan to make them from rectangles folded in half lengthwise, stitched down one side, then turned right-side out to make the pyramid. i thing working with less bulk will make it that much easier.
