I went to MQX yesterday and had a blast!! I took a class, then wandered around the vendor mall and the quilts. There was only one quilt though that struck my fancy enough to lug my camera out and take a picture. :) (They were all stunning, but I am a bit obsessed with Halloween). This quilt won second place in Art/Pictorial and was made by Cathy Wiggins.

And here is a shot to show the 3D effect she had, many of the pieces were lifted up from the quilt giving it great dimensionality:
