Well I don't know if any of you remember the pictures I posted about a year ago of the first two blocks to this Dresden Heart quilt. I finally finished the top today and thought you would like to see it even if it is only the top.
I will post pictures when I am done quilting. I am taking the advice of someone who posted a suggestion at the time I posted the pictures. I am going to mirror image quilt the slices of the heart, the center heart and the outside of the whole dresden heart. Then I am going to quilt a heart in each corner of the block. I think I am going to do a free-form ribbon and hearts for the borders
Don't know when I will finish, have a baby quilt to make and finish before August, but will post when I am done.
The back is going to be done in an old Hoffman fabric I have that is 3 colors of purple pansies outlined in gold.

Didn't see the pics the first time , so I am thrilled you posted more !
Great Job
Did you use a pattern or just modify it yourself ? Dresdan and Hearts are both my favorites and you put them together

Sharon I got the pattern on the internet. I don't have my notebook with my quilt designs in the house with me but when I go out to my workroom tomorrow I will look it up and post the site here. The site had a lot of free patterns. She was very creative and had a lot of different patterns which I copied and printed but this is the first one from there that I made. I fell in love with this one.
