Going through my things I came across this vintage fabric. No idea where I got it now. lol
I know a lot of people on here have made the OBW quilts.
Do you think this is a good fabric for one?

repeat is 12 and 3/8 inches.

I've only seen them, have not made one yet - but from what I've seen I'm thinking that is going to be stunning! I love the contrast between the blue and the pink.

i think you might end up with a lot of blocks that look pretty much the same - not that there's anything wrong with that - it would have a watercolor quilt effect.

here's a OBW with a pattern outcome like you might have except of course her colors are totally different.

the blocks blend into the one next to it, i personally like the look but many people on this thread preferred when she put a solid triangle to separate them

Thanks everyone. The nice thing about it is I can try it both ways but I think I like it with the solid triangles. Its going to be fun though trying to find a color to match/blend well with the vintage colors.

I think that's a good one...you've got blue and green and the "pop" would be pink.

There will be alot of blue area, could be pretty, soft water feel. Try a couple of blocks and see how you like it. It really is a personal opinion when it come to OBW.
