Which do you like better, #1 or #2?

Definitely #1, the last picture with the brown border. I can't wait to see the real quilt. Have you got fabric for it?

My vote's for the brown border, too, not for the color so much as for the contrast. It visually acts as a frame for the pattern. The beige one just looks unfinished, like an unframed piece of art.
