My first thought was no borders. Bind it and call it done. It looks like it will be a great size for a wheelchair or someone sitting in a chair who needs something over their legs and lap.

Your top is very nice.

A dark blue border would bring out the blue of the USA applique. Plus it wouldn't show the dirt so much. What you have is so wonderful so far.

Audition them. Put the amount of white you would use on one side and the blue on the other and see what takes your eye
