What are you going to do for the binding? That could be a fun way to brighten it up.

I think it is fine....however you could vary the colors of the cornerstones with some other bright colored scraps...just an idea

I think if you are going to have some blue on the sides, that should brighten it up enough. Also, the green and white on the back will add color to the quilt. I like your quilt, and think a little blue on the sides is all it needs.

One does not need to have more t-shirt fabric to make borders and binding. In fact, after making a few of these quilts, I find 100% cotton works best for those outside pieces. It is not a problem with the fused backing on the t-shirt blocks. Here is a link of mine which was posted some time ago. It may give you an idea of how borders can change up the view. Good luck. Yours is looking very nice. I like to corner stones inside the quilt.

It looks great. I would use either the green or the purple to bind.

I used cotton for the sashing. The cornerstone blocks are from the T-shirts. I wish I would have used another color for the sashing HOWEVER..im still very pleased and think with a colored border, it will pop. I took a peek at your t-shirt quilt and I love em!!!
