Looks intentional to me, especially the way you quilted it. It's beautiful!

On a small pillow, I had 4 blocks and tried unsuccessfully 3 times to make them match up in the center. Stopped before I wore the fabric out and slapped a appliqued rose on top. Everybody loved the flower in the center!
