I wanted to show the potholder I made for my Gramma. Her 88th bday is coming up, and I will make a toaster cover to go with this.

I never made a teacup before, but she loves her tea!

I love the teacup. I saw a kit at Walmarts called Tea Time and it had teacups down the side and a teapot in the middle. Have been thinking of doing it for dil who loves tea. Just haven't gotten to it yet with this knee surgery coming up.

cant wait to see the toaster cover.

It is beautiful! You did a great job and I'm sure she will love it. Did you use the insul-brite batting or just regular batting? I have been wanting to make some potholders for a while and hadn't been able to find the insul-brite and finally had to order it online, so I was just curious.

Do you remember which online source you got your insul-brite batting? I may do a few pot holders too.

Thanks!

I bought my insul-brite from www.homesew.com . I had a coupon at the time and used it. I had never worked with this type of batting so I thought I'd try it. I still haven't got it though. LOL.

Here are a few other sites that you can also order it from:
