Your quilt is fantastic--I love everything about it! Scrappy quilts are my favorites, and I love the border you put on this--lots of work there! You should feel really proud of having created such a masterpiece!

The name of the pattern is "Sew Scrappy". The book the pattern came out of is "40 Fabulous Quick-Cut Quilts" by Evelyn Sloppy.

She gives great instruction. If you iron in the direction she indicates you never have to use a pin to piece it together. The only place i used pins was to put the borders on and that was because I wanted to make sure they were centered correctly.

That is such a piece of art, Joey. Magnificent work. The border is something to behold all in itself.

I'm glad you were able to finish this quilt and that it helped with coming out of the depression. I've battled with depression all my life, and there is a long family history of it as well. I find that using some creative energy really helps me, and getting into quilting has been a great outlet for that.
